UP man shocked by ₹99,99,94,95,999.99 credit due to bank software glitch
In a tragic incident that unfolded on Thursday at Quest Mall in South Kolkata, a young man took his own life by jumping from the sixth floor of the popular shopping destination. The victim, identified as Mohammad Amin Rauf, a 22-year-old law student and a resident of Broad Street in Kadiya area, shocked bystanders and security personnel when he plunged from the mall's seventh floor.
The incident, took place around 10 pm, stirred a sense of panic and disbelief among witnesses and shoppers. Rauf's lifeless body came to rest near gate number 4 of the mall's parking lot. The security guards promptly contacted the Karaya police station.
Law enforcement officials arrived at the scene and transported the injured young man to the National Medical College Hospital where the doctors declared Rauf dead. The reasons behind this tragic act remain uncertain, leaving investigators from Karaya police station to initiate an inquiry into the matter. The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community and once again raised concerns about mental health and suicide prevention.
